Davone Bess is serious about this one. His agent, Kenny Zuckerman told reporters that "We have contacted all the proper authorities and plan to prosecute this impostor to the fullest extent of the law. Fraud is fraud and we are going to protect Davone and his reputation at any cost. He is very upset about this incident and wants everyone to know that he is the victim of an unfortunate scam."
The phinsider.com realized that the fake Bess was tweeting, while the real Bess was at mini camp. Props to the phinsider.com for some great reporting. The fake Bess' screen name was Lambo_Weezy.
Bess started last season as the Dolphins primary kick and punt returner, but when Greg Camarillo got injured, Bess was pushed into the starting lineup. One of the funnier things about the twitter scam is the fake Bess challenged Chris Johnson to a race, while Johnson is obviously faster.
