The Eagles have signed second round draft choice LeSean McCoy toi a four year contract the Eagles announced. Not only does this make McCoy the highest running back signed who was drafted, he is also the only second rounder signed.
McCoy will play behind Brian Westbrook, who many compare him to. Someday, McCoy will probably be the Eagles starting running back, but until then, McCoy will have to wait his turn. Behing McCoy is third year pro Lorenzo Booker.
McCoy was being considered in the first round by the Arizona Cardinals, but because of the fall of Chris "Beanie" Wells, McCoy slipped into the second round. McCoy will get the majority of first team reps, because of the injury to Brian Westbrook.
