The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have moved running back Earnest Graham to fullback, ProFootballTalk is reporting. Graham has been buried behind Derrick Ward and Carnell Williams in 2009.
Graham will likely start at fullback while normal starter B.J. askew is out. Return specialist Clifton Smith will be the Buccaneers third running back while Graham is at fullback. Graham has eight carries for 25 yards in 2009.
Williams has started 4 of 5 games this season, but he has only rushed 45 times for 199 yards, with a solid average of 4.1 yards per carry. Ward started one game in 2009, and has rushed 32 times for 133 yards and a 4.2 yard average.
