Steve Reed of CarolinaGrowl.com is reporting that Panthers head coach John Fox is considering benching starting quarterback Jake Delhomme. Delhomme leads the NFL in interceptions, 13, and has underachieved ever since late in the 2008 season.
Delhomme would likely be replaced by third year pro Matt Moore, but A.J. Feeley could also be considered. According to PFT, Delhomme is on pace to throw 35 interceptions this season. The Panthers had almost three times the yards that the Bills had but they still lost today.
The reason the Panthers got blown away was due to Delhommes inability to control the ball, no matter how close they got to the end zone. Moore is similar to Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.
