At least three NFL players have already come out and told the press that they will not play for the Rams if Rush Limbaugh is their owner. Giants defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka, Jets linebacker Bart Scott, and Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb said they would not play with the Rams.
Limbaugh is competing with several others to be the next owners of the St. Louis Rams franchise. Kiwanuka calls Limbaugh "flat out racist". Bart Scott thinks the NFL should not all the Rams to sell Limbaugh the franchise.
Limbaugh, with ESPN in 2003 told the nation that he thought the media was in support of Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb because they wanted to see a black quarterback succeed. Limbaugh grew up around the St. Louis area.
