Jason Reid of the Washington Post is reporting that the Washington Redskins have signed punter Glenn Pakulak and released defensive end Renaldo Wynn. Wynn could be re-signed by the Redskins depending on the health of punter Hunter Smith.
Pakulak was signed to replace Hunter Smith, who will not play on Sunday. Smith is dealing with a groin injury. Smith was signed late this offseason, after spending time previously with the Indianapolis Colts.
Wynn played in Washington from 2002 to 2006. In 2007, Wynn played with the New Orleans Saints, and in 2008 he played with the New York Giants. Pakulak has already played for nine teams, and he is only 29.
