Bills Lose Starting Guard For Year, Sign Simmons

The Buffalo Bills have announced on their twitter page that they have placed guard Eric Wood on injured reserve, and signed free agent offensive guard Kendall Simmons. Simmons last played with the New England Patriots.

Simmons only played in one game as a Patriot, while he was a starter at the start of the 2008 season with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Wood has already undergone surgery for his compound leg fracture.

The Bills are also expected to place their other starting guard, Seth McKinney, on injured reserve. And just for good measures!
