The Pewter Report is reporting that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have placed offensive guard Aaron sears on the Reserve/Non-Football List. The Buccaneers also placed Torrie Cox and Dirk Johnson on injured reserve.
To take a roster spot from the three losses, the Buccaneers signed cornerback Brandon Anderson from their practice squad. Sears has been out of football shape and he does not know the Buccaneers playbook.
Johnson tore his hamstring in a non contact punt. The Buccaneers will need to add a new punter who can also hold kicks. Josh Johnson held kicks for Johnson and Connor Barth punted for Johnson on Sunday.
