Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk is reporting that the Cleveland Browns and CBS correspondent Charley Casserly have a mutual interest in each other. (Note: No homo). Casserly last worked as the GM of the Huston Texans.
Florio admits that the Browns might still be focusing on hiring former Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Holmgren. The Cleveland Plain Dealer wrote yesterday that Casserly was the hot rumor in Cleveland.
Sports Talk Cleveland is now reporting that Casserly could be hired by the Browns in the next 72 hours. According to Sports Talk Cleveland he will be hired as the Browns president and GM.
