Dwayne Bowe Suspended Four Games

The Kansas City Chiefs have announced that starting wide receiver Dwayne Bowe has been suspended four games for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. Bowe will likely be replaced by Bobby Wade.

According to ESPN.com, Bowe was using a diuretic while he was trying to lose weight during training camp. According to ESPN, Bowe will not appeal the suspension. The suspension will be in effect immediately.

The Chiefs are lucky that they signed wide receiver Chris Chambers a couple of weeks ago, or they could have been in even more trouble. Lance Long and Mark Bradley are the Chiefs other options at wideout.
