Jags Cut Ties With Adam Seward

The Jacksonville Jaguars have released linebacker Adam Seward, the team announced today. Seward has played in only three games this season after he signed with the Jaguars just before the start of the 2009 season.

Seward was signed by the Indianapolis Colts during free agency, but he failed to make a bid for their 53-man roster, and was released before the start of the season. Seward provided depth at middle linebacker.

The Jaguars signed linebacker Lamar Myles and defensive end James Wyche to their practice squad, but they still have not added a player to replace Seward on the Jaguars 53-man roster. Either player might be promoted to the active roster.
