Matt Ryan Will Not Play In Week 13

Jay Glazer of Fox Sports is reporting that the Atlanta Falcons will be without quarterback Matt Ryan in week 13. Ryan has been diagnosed with turf toe, an injury he got in Sunday's game. Ryan played only one series against the Buccaneers.

Chris Redman will replace Ryan as the Falcons starting quarterback. Redman's last start came late in the 2007 season. Redman is set to be a free agent at the end of the season, and this is perfect timing for the veteran.

The Falcons could also be without Michael Turner, who got injured again after sitting out week 12. If Turner cannot go for the Falcons, Jason Snelling and Jerious Norwood will see most of the carries.
