Redskins Lose Chris Cooley For Season

Matt Terl is reporting on twitter that the Washington Redskins have placed tight end Chris cooley on injured reserve. The Redskins also announced that they placed defensive end Jeremy Jarmon on injured reserve.

Rob Jackson was signed from the practice squad to replace Jarmon's roster spot. The Redskins also signed linebacker Alvin Bowen. Starting running back Clinton Portis has also been ruled out for week 13.

Fred Davis will start at tight end for Cooley. Davis, who is in his second NFL season looks like a budding pass catcher.
