Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean is reporting that the Tennessee Titans have signed wide receiver Dominique Edison and released center Fernardo Velasco. Edison was on the Titans practice squad.
The Titans needed depth at wide receiver after starting wide receiver Justin Gage suffered a back injury in week nine.Velasco was promoted from the Titans practice squad to their 53-man roster last year.
Edison has played in two games this season with the Titans, but he has not recorded a reception. With right tackle David Stewart back in practice, Velasco was a luxury. Velasco can play all five spots on the line.
