FanHouse.com is reporting that Florida Tuskers head coach Jim Haslett has been contacted by an NFL team about becoming their head coach. Haslett admitted in an interview that an unnamed team contacted him.
Haslett has been linked to the Buffalo Bills, where Perry Fewell is the interim head coach. ProFootballTalk.com suggests that Haslett could have been contacted by the Buccaneers to replace Jim Bates as the defensive coordinator.
Haslett lost in the UFL Championship after a game-winning field goal by Graham Gano. Haslett told reporters after the loss that "A lot of guys have been contacted; myself, a bunch of coaches have been contacted." Haslett also mentioned that he thinks that DeDe Dorsey will get some NFL calls.
