A 40 yard bomb in overtime from Jay Cutler to Devin Aromashodu sealed the deal in overtime, as the seven point underdog Chicago Bears outlasted the Minnesota Vikings. Aromashodu's career game lead the Vikings to victory.
Aromashodu caught seven passes for 150 yards and a touchdown, which bested his season stats in only one game. A Adrian Peterson fumble set up the game winning touchdown pass. Peterson had a solid game, but he continues to struggle with ball security.
Peterson ran 24 times for 94 yards and two touchdowns while he caught three passes for 43 yards. Bears running back Matt Forte ran 21 times for 74 yards. Hunter Hillenmeyer who forced the game winning fumble also totaled 15 tackles.
Brett Favre threw a touchdown pass to Sidney Rice just before the end of regulation. With the Vikings latest loss, the Saints have now cliched the first seed in the playoffs. If the Eagles beat the Cowboys on Sunday, the Eagles will steal home field advantage from the Vikings.
