The Cleveland Browns have announced that they have placed starting quarterback Brady Quinn on injured reserve. Quinn will be replaced by Derek Anderson, who was the Browns starting quarterback in 2007.
With two games left in the regular season, Anderson will try to show new president Mike Holmgren that he belongs in Cleveland. When Anderson and Quinn were injured late last season, Josh Cribbs got snaps at quarterback.
I would not be surprised if Cribbs got more wildcat snaps in the next two weeks. Brett Ratliff is the Browns third quarterback, but will now serve as the Browns primary backup. Expect the Browns to add another passer.
