Colts Expected To Sign J.P. Losman


Jason La Canfora of NFL.com is reporting that the Indianapolis Colts are expected to sign former Buffalo Bills and Las Vegas Locomotives quarterback J.P. Losman. The Colts are looking to add a backup quarterback after Jim Sorgi was placed on IR.


Rookie Curtis Painter is currently the Colts second option at quarterback behind Peyton Manning. Punter Pat McAfee is being used as the Colts emergency quarterback. Joseph Addai would also be considered in an emergency.


Losman played with the UFL's Las Vegas Locomotives in 2009, where he lkead the Locos to a UFL Championship victory. Losman previously played with the Buffalo Bills after being drafted as a first round pick.
