John Clayton of ESPN.com is reporting that the Indianapolis Colts worked out free agent quarterback J.P. Losman. The Colts just signed quarterback Shane Boyd to their practice squad this week.
Losman played in the UFL's Las Vegas Locomotives thus far this season, but was declared a free agent on December 1st. The Colts are looking at quarterbacks after Jim Sorgi suffered a shoulder injury.
Other than Sorgi, Curtis Painter is the only quarterback behind Peyton Manning on the roster. Losman won 10 of 23 games in which he started as a Buffalo Bill in 2004 to 2007. Losman lead to Locos to the UFL Championship this season.
