Oaklahoma defensive tackle Gerald McCoy has announced that he will enter the 2010 NFL draft. McCoy had 29 tackles in 2009, with 5 sacks. McCoy is considered the second best defensive tackle prospect behind Suh.
McCoy can be expected to be drafted anywhere from third overall to seventh overall. McCoy will graduate early and fuinnish his degree in human relations. According to the Oaklahoma Sooners website, McCoy made the descision mid-season.
McCoy will be a defensive tackle in a 4-3 defense, and a defensive end in a 3-4 defense.
