The St. Louis Today is reporting that the man who sold a 9mm semiautomatic pistol to the mistress of Steve McNair has ben sentenced to 30 months in jail. According to the St. Louis Today, Adrian Gilliam, sold the gun for $100.
Gilliam, a conmvicted felon, could have faced up to ten years in jail. Gilliam sold the gun in a parkinglot at Dave and Buster's. Gilliams lawyer released a statement on his client. "Mr. Gilliam is a decent, hard-working family man and there's no reason to ruin his life too."
Gilliam was convicted in 1993 of three counts of armed-robbery and second degree murder. The gun was traced to a 2002 sale to a pawn shop. According to police Gilliam decided to sell the gun because his wife was afraid to have it in their house.
