
Plaxico Burress has barely spent two months in jail, and according to the New York Post, he could be getting out soon. Burress has applied to work for a furlough that will let him spend some nights at his home.
According to stats obtained by the New York Post, out of 31,598 inmate applications for work release last year, only 1,413 were approved. Other inmates have noted that Burress seems depressed.

Burress can start talking to teams when he is working with a furlough. Burress was scheduled to serve 20 months in jail, and so far he has only served ten percent of his time. Not only does Burress share jail time in common with Michael Vick, there also are from the same place, Norfolk, Virginia.
