Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk is reporting that the Oakland Raiders have signed free agent quarterback J.P. Losman. Losman was rumored to be close to signing with the Colts, but he probably saw more chances of playing in Oakland.
Losman has a chance to start one of the Raiders last three games, but I am going to rule out the possibility of Losman starting in week 15. Charlie Frye or JaMarcus Russell will start in week 15, and depending on their preformance, Losman could start in week 16 or 17.
According to PFT, the deal is expected to be one year long, which means three games. Losman took a physical with the Raiders earlier today. Losman played with the UFL's Las Vegas Locos in 2009.
