Ravens Quarterback Looking To Be Traded

Baltimore Ravens backup quarterback Troy Smith wants to be traded according to Smith's agent, Ralph Cindrich. Smith is scheduled to become a restricted free agent after the season. Smith is unhappy as a backup.

Troy Smith's value to the Ravens is not that high considering their long-term commitment to Joe Flacco. Smith wants to go to a team where he can receive more playing time and/or compete for a starting job.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh released a statement after he learned that Smith wanted to be traded, saying that he wants Smith to stay a Baltimore Raven.
