Redskins To Trade Albert Haynesworth After the season

Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk is reporting that the Washington Redskins could trade or release defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth after the season. If the Redskins dump Haynesworth there will not be a cap penalty with the salary cap out of the picture in 2010.

Haynesworth signed a contract last season that promised him $40 million dollars in guaranteed money. Haynesworth signed a seven-year $100 million dollar contract last season. After the Redskins lost to the Giants, Haynesworth questioned Greg Blache's scheme.

Last week Haynesworth was sent home from practice after a long conversation with Redskins head coach Jim Zorn. Haynesworth was also fined $10,000 after he fought with Giants running back Brandon Jacobs.

  1. Haynesworth is irresponsible and nothing but trouble. The Redskins made a bad mistake in getting him. He has no class, no character, no integrity. He is all about himself. When you hang with trash you soon begin to smell.
