Steelers To Sign Joey Galloway

The Post-Gazette is reporting that the Pittsburgh Steelers have signed free agent wide receiver Joey Galloway. Galloway last played with the New England Patriots, where he failed to make an impact.

The Steelers signed Galloway, after they placed wide receiver Limas Sweed on the reserve/illness list. According to the Post-Gazette, Galloway visited the Steelers this morning. In addition to Galloway, the Steelers signed longsnapper Jared Retkofsky.

Retkofski was signed to replace Greg Warren, who was placed on injured reserve yesterday. Last season Warren was placed on IR as well. Guess who was signed to replace him. Jared Retkofsky.
