Vikings LB Henderson Suspended Four Games

Judd Zulgad of the Star Tribune is reporting that Minnesotta Vikings linebacker Erin Henderson has been suspended by the NFL for violating the substance abuse policy. Henderson will serve a four game suspension.

Henderson will miss the Vikings last three games of the season and the first playoff game. Henderson will lose four game checks of his salary this season. The Vikings signed linebacker J Lemon, who was on their practice squad.

Henderson is mainly used on special teams, unlike his brother, Eric Henderson who is the Vikings starting middle linebacker. Henderson is the fourth Viking to violate the NFL's substance abuse policy since late in 2007.
