1. Indianapolis Colts - Any team that is undefeated after Christmas deserves to be number one, no matter how close their games have been. Best player in the game leads the Colts in dramatic fashion.
2. San Diego Chargers - This team is on fire. Might even be better than the Colts. Vincent Jackson makes Phillip Rivers look so good.
3. New Orleans Saints - The Saints seem like a team that will not do well in the playoffs. Have a good quarterback, but their secondary concerns me.
4. Philadelphia Eagles - DeSean Jackson adds the big play threat that Donovan McNabb has not had since Terrell Owens.
5. Minnesota Vikings - This team is going down fast. Favre saga is bringing the team down. Hurts that Peterson has not been himself.
5. Dallas Cowboys - Beating the Saints in the super dome shows a lot. Maybe I am underestimating this team.
6. New York Giants - I have a feeling this team is also a bit overrated, but they are hard to ignore with a solid running game.
7. Cincinnati Bengals - When I think about the Bengals, I think about how inconsistent they are. Chris Henry is in everyones mind right now.
8. Arizona Cardinals - Strong team in a weak division.
9. Green Bay Packers - Will lock up the top wildcard spot. A good team with a hard schedule.
10. New England Patriots - poor play by the Broncos bump the Patriots back into my top ten. It is hard to believe a team with so much baggage is still in the playoff hunt.
