CFL Tryout Information (01/29/10)


I would like to bring this comment to light that was posted on a previous article on CFL Tryouts. I'm sure you football players out there will enjoy it.


The Calgary Stampeders, Proud members of the Canadian Football League, in
conjunction with The Grid Iron Football Alliance are excited to announce the
2010 Stampeders Roundup. We are thrilled to open the doors of opportunity to the
next generation of talented athletes, starting salaries for accepted athletes is
$45,000.00 U.S.D. per season and additional perks and benefits may apply. This
event will be held at the Family Sports Center 542 Evans City Road. Butler P.a.
16001. Registration will promptly start at 8:30a.m. and end at 9:30a.m. A
nominal registration fee of $80.00 will be due upon registration. The workout
portion of our event will begin at 10:30a.m. and will continue until all
registered participants have completed all required activities. The workout
activities will include, but is not limited to, the 40 yd. dash, the short
shuttle, broad and vertical jump measurements, one on ones, and individual
position drills. All registered participants must bring proper workout attire.

Registration: From 8:30-9:30 a.m.
Where: Family Sports Center — 542
Evans City Rd., Butler, Pa.
Cost: $80 – cash only
Bring appropriate
workout gear (i.e. shorts, cleats, water)

Registration will begin at
8:30 a.m. when participants will be weighed and measured. Each participant will
be put through a number of Canadian Football League-specific athletic tests. The
testing drills will include the 40-yard dash, the short shuttle, a broad jump
and a vertical jump. This will be followed by individual position drills and
one-on-ones.
