The Calgary Sun is reporting that the Dallas Cowboys had a tryout with Calgary Stampeders kicker Sandro DeAngelis. Shaun Suisham and David Buehler are the two kickers currently on the Cowboys' roster.
DeAngelis has an 84% field goal percentage in his five years with the team. In five seasons in the NFL, Suisham has completed 79% of his field goals. Buehler has not kicked in the NFL, and will serve only as a kickoff specialist.
Suisham was just signed a couple of weeks ago after Nick Folk missed some very costly field goals in week seventeen and in the wild-card matchup against the Eagles. The Cowboys released Folk a couple of weeks ago.
