Jerome Bettis told Chris Russo on SIRIUS XM that former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Bill Cowher. Bettis told Russo that he thinks that Cowher will return to the NFL with the Giants. C0wher last coached in 2006.
Cowher has also been reportedly intrigued by the Panther's job, where he currently lives in the great state of North Carolina. Cowher was contacted by the Buffalo Bills this offseason, and he was rumored to be contacted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Cowher is known for making run-oriented offenses and blitzing 3-4 defenses. Perhaps his biggest accomplishment was developing quarterback Ben Roethlisberger into a star as a rookie. Cowher currently works on CBS's NFL Today.
