Eagles Tryout Star UFL Running Back


Adam Caplan of Scout.com is reporting that the Philadelphia Eagles have worked out free agent running backs DeDe Dorsey and Dwayne Wright. Dorsey was the MVP of the UFL's championship game.


Dorsey has rushed for 191 yards in his NFL career with a 7.1 yard average. Playing with the UFL in 2009, Dorsey ran 47 times for 303 yards and three touchdowns. Dorsey has more speed, while Wright is a powerful runner.


Wright spent this offseason with the New York Giants after he spent 2007 with the Buffalo Bills. Wright ran for 94 yards in 2007, while he carried a 3.4 yard average. Wright was drafted in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Draft.
