The ASSociated Press is reporting that New York mayor Michael Bloomberg has unofficially renamed Manhatten to Revis Island. Bloomberg was at a rush-hour pep rally for the upcoming Jets-Colts game.
C'mon guys. Let's be real here. Revis is a good cornerback, but he is not unstoppable. When the Colts played the Jets in week 16, Reggie Wayne consistently burned Revis, although he did not always catch the ball, he was open.
Bloomburg also put up a sign saying "Welcome To Revis Island". According to the AP, the sign will stay as long as the Jets stay in the playoffs.
