Mark Brunell Will Start In What Coulde Be His Last NFL Game

With the Saints playoff future set in stone, the New Orleans Saints have decided that they will start quarterback Mark Brunell in week 17. The Saints have also announced that they have signed quarterback Chase Daniel.

I suspect that the Saints are looking to honor Brunell's career by letting him start in what could be his last game. To make room for Daniel, the Saints released cornerback Mike Mckenzie, who they could re-sign next week.

According to several news outlets, the Saints will use Drew Brees as their third quarterback in week 17. It will be interesting to see how well Brunell can play, since he has not seen much real action since he played with the Washington Redskins.
