
Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that the Seattle Seahawks are interviewing former Washington Redskins offensive coordinator Sherman Smith for the Seahawks running backs job. Smith played seven seasons with the Seahawks in the late 1970's and early 80's.
UPDATE:
The Seattle Seahawks have announced that they have hired Smith. Smith started his pro football coaching career with the Houston Oilers, where he served as their running back coach. Smith spent 2008 and 2009 as the Redskins' offensive coordinator.
