Jason La Canfora of NFL Network is reporting that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have re-signed restricted free agent offensive tackle Donald Penn. Penn will receive the highest tender allowed for a restricted free agent.
Penn has started in every game for the past 44 games, and has played in every game for the last 48 games. Penn will make $3,168 million in 2010, which is much less than what a player with his experience should be getting paid.
If another team trys to sign Penn, they would be forced to give the Buccaneers a first and a third round pick.
