Chris Mortenson of ESPN is reporting that the San Diego Chargers are shopping cornerback Antonio Cromartie around for a running back. The Chargers may also decide to trade Cromartie for a draft pick that they would use on a running back.
The Chargers have been dissapointed with Cromartie the past two seasons, when he could not build on his monster season in 2007. Mortenson thinks the Cowboys and the Packers could land Cromartie.
Roy Cummings of the Tampa Bay Tribune thinks that the Buccaneers could give up a running back for Cromartie. If/when the Chargers trade Cromartie, Antoine Cason will replace him at cornerback.
