Craig Hentrich Retires

Terry McCormick of the Nashville City Paper is reporting that Tennessee Titans punter Craig Hentrich has retired. Hentrich punted in the NFL for 17 season, and was the Titans only remaining player from the 1990's.

Hentrich spent four seasons with the Green Bay Packers, and thirteen seasons with the Titans. Hentrich made the Pro Bowl in only 1998 and 2003, but he was always consistent in his seventeen seasons.

Brett Kern, who played in Hentrich's place in 2009, will likely get a chance to start in 2010. One of the more impressive highlights of Hentrich's career was his 50 yard field goal in 2004, pretty good for a kicker, and he is a punter.
