Rams Release Marc Bulger?

Howard Blazer of the St. Louis Globe Democrat is reporting on his twitter page that St. Louis Rams quarterback Marc Bulger has cleaned out his locker, and has left Rams headquarters. Bulger is scheduled to make $8.5 million in 2010.

Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk thinks that Bulger could land in Chicago, where he would reunite with Mike Martz.

UPDATE:

Steve Spagnuolo told reporters that Bulger is still a Ram, and the reason he cleaned out his locker was that he did not expect that he was returning.

In 8 starts in 2009, Bulger threw five touchdowns, six interceptions, and nearly 1,500 yards. The last time Bulger threw for more touchdowns than interceptions was in 2006, when he started all 16 games.
