Jeff Duncan of The New Orleans Times-Picayune is reporting that the New Orleans Saints will sign a veteran quarterback before the start of training camp. Duncan predicts that the Saints will sign Patrick Ramsey.
The Saints did not re-sign Mark Brunell (Another former Redskin) after the season, and they are still searching for a veteran to back up Drew Brees. Chase Daniel (Who spent time with the Redskins) is currently the Saints top backup, but he is nothing more than a third quarterback at best.
But Daniel might be hard to turn down. "My mindset is to go in there and win the No. 2 spot," Daniel said Friday. "I'm just going to go out there and compete and let the cards fall where they may."

If Ramsey does not sign with the Broncos, the Omaha Nighthawks hold his rights.
