Justin Fargas and LaMont Jordan Land In The UFL

A month ago Bill Williamson of ESPN reported that the Omaha Nighthawks of the United Football league were looking at JaMarcus Russell, Justin Fargas, LaMont Jordan, Shawn Andrews, Charles Grant and Cato June.

Yesterday, the Nighthawks posted the following players, among others on their roster.

Chris Brown
Ronald Curry
Tony Dorsett
Justin Fargas
Robert Ferguson
George Foster
Ahman Green
Ryan Hoag
LaMont Jordan
Chike Okeafor
Patrick Ramsey
Fred Smott
Brian St. Pierre
Craphonso Thrope

Since then, the team took off the players, and now Ahman Green is the only player listed.

Then, I found Chris Browns profile on the leagues website. The team forgot to take down each player's profile.

You can find all the players by copying this. Then replace the players last name, add a slash, and then the players first name.

UPDATE: The UFL has now deleted the player profiles. That lasted a good 20 minutes.....

SECOND UPDATE: Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk is reporting that these players are protected by the Nighthawks and have not yet signed deals. I suspect that the Nighthawks have a really bad webmaster, who jumped the gun on the signings.
