NFL Network has announced that former St. Louis Rams wide receiver Torry Holt will join the network as an analyst. Holt will begin working on air tomorrow on the NFL Total Access Pro Bowl Selection Show.
“Torry had an outstanding playing career and he is another Pro Bowl and Super Bowl winning analyst that we are adding to our team,” NFL Network executive producer Eric Weinberger said.
NFL Network is stacked with former Rams Holt, Marshall Faulk, Kurt Warner, and Trent Green.
Do I like the move? No. Do I care? No. Do I have NFL Network? No. Do I want NFL Network? A little less now than before.
I was unlucky enough to have to listen to Holt color commentate the Browns-Panthers game this season.
Here is what Awful Announcing had to say about Holt.

A regular season game between the wretched Panthers and the mediocre Browns
would usually be bad enough to sit through on a Sunday afternoon. When Chris
Rose and Torry Holt are announcing the game, the awfulness is ratcheted up
several notches. Perhaps someone from AA nation can correct me, but I believe
this was Holt's first game as an analyst for Fox. Needless to say it was less
than a sterling debut.
