The Washington Redskins have signed former Pittsburgh Steelers inside linebacker Keyaron Fox, Mike Jones of the Washington Post reports.The move signals that the Redskins will not be going after former Seahawks middle linebacker Lofa Tatupu.
In addition the Redskins announced that they released inside linebacker Robert Henson, outside linebacker Kyle O'Donnell, and nose tackle Joe Joseph.
Fox served as the Steelers special teams captain last season. Fox's best season was in 2006 with the Chiefs, when he started four games and recorded 52 tackles. In 2009 he intercepted a pass and returned it 82 yards for a touchdown.
